This researcher analyzed the relationships among the learning-styles, achievement, age, gender, and geographic origin for first-year business students at a New York City community college. The participants were selected based on their enrollment in courses offered by the college's Accounting and Managerial Studies Department. Each completed the Building Excellence (BE) (Rundle & Dunn, 2000) survey online to determine their individual learning-style preferences.
